Often, life can feel anything but harmonious.  How would life look if you felt more present with yourself, being so regulated inside, that you could experience your outer world more peacefully? Becoming attuned to your body can totally transform your experience of life.

Why somatic work?

How we respond to life events depends on what strategies our body has put in place previously. These mechanisms live on in our body, in our cells, passed on through our DNA and templates from generation to generation, until someone says ‘enough’. Until someone says ‘I am ready to listen. I am ready to put the work in. I’m ready to embrace freedom’. Somatic work can be the bridge between old patterns and freedom.

What does a 1:1 session look like?

Together we will clarify your goals. We will work on building safety and guide you gently and fully back into your soma (body). Open minded exploration allows your journey to unravel just as it is supposed to, small step by step. Sometimes there may be movement involved and sometimes sessions feel like a loving discussion with the body. When we give ourselves this space, the magic unveils the parts that have been hidden. We listen to these parts and give them what they have quietly been calling for, freeing you up to really ‘live’ Each session is approximately 60-90 minutes, allowing the body to slow down and communicate.

What is the difference between Somatic Coaching and talking therapies?

Whereas talking therapies offer a ‘head down’ approach (working with the mind to change patterns), somatic coaching offers a ‘body up’ approach (working with aspects of the body that have been out of awareness) to transform your reality. When becoming attuned to the body at this level, our thought and behaviour patterns subsequently shift too.

How many sessions do I need?

True transformation takes time, dedication and support. This is not overnight work. This is deep work that will heal places that haven’t been seen and give joy and freedom that may currently feel unimaginable. I offer blocks of 8 sessions so that I can fully support you as we embrace your journey. Session price is £135 (60-90 minutes).
